Petition Time
3:53 a.m. - Monday, Nov. 15, 2004

I totally forgot to post these links last week. I think both petitions are closed now and will soon be on their way to their respective recipients, if they haven't already been sent, but sign them anyway and show your support for a good cause: educating the public about puppymills. And, then send some letters to Oprah and People and encourage them to help make the public aware of puppymills. Thank you!

From the Puppymill Awareness-People Magazine Nov. 8th Issue petition:

"This petition is to ask People Magazine to please allow an article to be put into their magazine about puppymills and rescue dogs, to try and educate people out there who need to be educated instead of advertising about a teenager and his mother making money off of making a irresponsible website to help these millers sell more pups and pocket a few dollars on the side for it. The November article showed nothing more than promotion of these types of Internet breeders who need to be shut down.

Enclosed in this petition is the names of women and men who are passionate about rescue. We are asking People Magazine to hear our voices and let them be heard through an article about rescues and puppymills."

From the Let's ask Oprah to expose Puppy Mills petition:

"I have emailed the editors at Oprah's show 3 times without success for her to do a show about where puppies come from. The public needs to know about puppy mills and the abuse, filth, and sadness that they cause proliferate."
